📍Hel, Poland Can you believe it’s officially 📍Hel, Poland Can you believe it’s officially Autumn? I spent 2 weeks of September in Poland and it was a wonderful time. I visited Cracow, Łódź and Baltic Sea - this last one for the first time in 15 years! My parents and I drove for 5 hours to Hel to reunite with my brother and his girlfriend. Hel is a small city located at the Hel Peninsula and as the furthest point of the peninsula, the town is also considered the Beginning of Poland. 🇵🇱 Hel is a popular tourist destination but it was my very first time visiting this town! We spent a very nice family day exploring the nature and the historical and military importance of this territory. 📍Bilbao, Spain Aupa! I can’t believe it’s 📍Bilbao, Spain Aupa! I can’t believe it’s already August! I love this month and I also celebrate my birthday at the beginning of August. ☀️🥳 This year Edwin took me on a birthday trip to Basque Country and Cantabria, in the North of Spain. 💚 I’ve always thought it’s amazing how different the North is from the rest of the country, it looks more like Ireland than Spain. The nature is outstanding and so green! 😍 It was a short road trip but we enjoyed every moment of it and I couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing man who never stops surprising me. 🩷 I will share it on the stories soon! Of course a picture with the famous Puppy from Bilbao was a must! Did you know that the Puppy represents a Scottish West Highland White Terrier? Île aux Cerfs, Mauritius This tiny paradisiacal Île aux Cerfs, Mauritius This tiny paradisiacal island from the picture is considered a must for most of the visitors in Mauritius due to a beautiful lagoon which looks impressing, especially from the air. 🏝️ Since it’s a very well known place, I was surprised that there is no public ferry to get there and almost zero information about low cost ways of transportation. The most common and obviously most promoted option was to book a catamaran trip with lunch included and around 3 hours on the island which might be great but it wasn’t convincing to us, so what we did was to go on our own, speak to the locals and to bargain a decent price for transportation. 🚤 At the end we went to the island on a small boat with the locals and incomparably cheaper than any available excursion. We listened to the music, we laughed a lot and we had a chance to get to know those amazing people better. ♥️ And to be honest the boat ride was the best memory from that day for us! Of course the island was breathtaking but still, we simply loved that moment on the boat. Sometimes life it’s all about those little things.
