Knock knock! Happy wekeend!

We haven’t post a lot these days because we are still very busy with studying but it’s the last week and then we will be free. 🥳

Once we are done, we will be finally able to focus our energy on trying new things this summer and on new existing chapters waiting for us! There are some changes to come in our personal lives that we can’t wait to tell you about but.. it still has to wait. 😁

What are your plans for this weekend?

We’ve been studying hard all morning because we are going on a concert tonight! Estopa is playing in Barcelona their first outside concert here and it’s one of Edwin’s favorite bands so I’m taking him on a date!🎤🎸

Have a lovely weekend. ♥️

📍 Tossa de Mar, Spain. Happy Sunday guys!😊 📍 Tossa de Mar, Spain.

Happy Sunday guys!😊 How are you?

It’s been a long and intense week for us and I barely had time to come here and say hi. 😅

The weather in Barcelona is absolutely fantastic! ☀️

Any exciting trips that you have planned for May?

We won’t travel until June because we both have to study a lot this month but at the end of May we will be done with studies and sooo ready for summer and exploring!🍉⛱

Tossa de Mar is one of my favorite towns in Costa Brava! During the last 4 years we explored a lot of unique places there and this summer won’t be different because we always crave for more and Costa Brava is a wonderful destination to come back. ❤️

📍Granada, Spain. William Shakespeare once said 📍Granada, Spain.

William Shakespeare once said «Every curious traveler keeps Granada in his heart, even without having visited it».

I came back from my quick trip to Granada and it reminded me why I love coming back to the South of Spain. The joy that the southerners transmit is incomparable with any other part of the country! 🤩

One of the things I love about Granada is how close everything is. Our hotel was located in the heart of the city with a beautiful view at the Cathedral (wait for the stories!) and no matter which spot on the map me looked for, it never was more than 15 minutes walking. We managed to do everything we wanted in 2 days and with no rush.🏃‍♀️

And the idea of giving you a free tapa ( and it’s not a small tapa!) together with your drink is a total blast. I still can’t believe when I check my bank account and see how little we spent on food.🧆🍤

The beauty of this city is a result of different cultures co-living together for centuries. The Arabs stayed in Spain for almost 800 years and there are still signs of their influence all throughout the city of Granada. One of them is this beautiful park located in El Realejo district which completely stole our hearts. ❤️

We didn’t visit Alhambra this time but we definitely found a piece of it in Carmen de los Mártires! 🍊

What is your best memory from Granada?💃

📍 S'Agaró, Spain. Happy Monday guys!😊 I h 📍 S'Agaró, Spain.

Happy Monday guys!😊

I hope you started new week with a lot of energy! Spring officially has come to Barcelona!🌷

I’m heading to Granada this Wednesday with my best friend. It’s gonna be a girls trip, which means Edwin stays home alone. 😃We will be in Granada for 2 days and I would appreciate any recommendations!

I was in Granada 10 years ago and I barely remember anything apart from Alhambra. I don’t think we will have time to visit Alhambra this time, but if you can recommend me any nice spot in the city - view points, restaurants, bars, rooftops, parks, and also less touristic places… it would be amazing!😊

Sooo, what’s on your must see list in Granada?💃

📍 S'Agaró, Spain. “To make a mountain of yo 📍 S'Agaró, Spain.

“To make a mountain of your life is just a choice.”

Since music has always played a huge role in my life, I thought it would be nice to include lyrics of my favorite songs in the posts sometimes! You will find the song in our story. 🎶

You can’t imagine how often this one simple sentence form Nada Surf’s song helped me to take a different perspective on some things going on in my life. At the end it’s us who decide to either complain or to face our problems with dignity and to not build a mountain of it. 💪😊

.

How was your long weekend guys? We didn’t come here to wish you Happy Easter but we hope you’ve had great holidays!🐣

We went to Costa Brava and the weather was a dream.☀️ We tried a looot of delicious food, visited few towns, relaxed at our spa hotel and did a part of Camino de Ronda! For those of you who like to walk the coastline we strongly suggest you to do Camino de Ronda between Sant Feliu de Guíxols and S'Agaró!🌻We will post more from our trip in the stories soon!📸

Today I wanna share a story with you. Because that Today I wanna share a story with you. Because that’s where it all started. Mexico. 🇲🇽
My interest in Latin America and Spanish language started very early. I was watching Mexican soap operas with my Grandma when I was a kid and I learned Spanish on my own few years later in high school.
I was listening to Mexican bands and none of my schoolmates would share this passion with me.

When all my friends were studying English for final exams, I had my room full of yellow post it’s with Spanish words. When I was at University, my master specialization was Latin-American and Spanish politics, economics and culture. My tesis was about Latin-American immigration in Spain. I don’t consider myself any specialist but If I know a lot about something in my life it’s Spain, Central America and Southamerica.

2 weeks after my graduation I was already sitting in the plane, ready to move to Barcelona. I couldn’t count how many times I heard “are you crazy, with all this crisis in Spain?” I didn’t think it twice, I just knew this was my path. And here I am, 8 years later. Living my Spanish dream.

When I finally got a stable job and saved some money during my first 2 years in Spain, most of my friends were planning to visit Southern Asia, but my heart was dreaming of Mexico. I knew it would by my first destination outside Europe since I was 10 years old. Always chasing different paths than people around me.😁

I was 26 when I made this dream come true. Some people may say it took me a long time but no one else but me knows how much I had to struggle to make it possible. Maybe it would be one small step for others, but for me it was the biggest step of my life so far. 🌙

Mexico has always been my secret lover, waiting impatiently for me to come. I can’t wait to come back with Edwin and share my love for Mexico with him. ❤️

Few years later I jumped on another plane to backpack South America as a continuation of my dream. But this is a story that deserves its own piece of journalism.

Why Mexico? If you wanna find out the reasons, I invite you to grab some coffee and check our stories! ☕️🇲🇽

📍Cadaques, Spain. What are your plans for East 📍Cadaques, Spain.

What are your plans for Easter’s long weekend?☀️

We decided for a spontaneous trip and we booked our accommodation yesterday. 🤩 It wasn’t easy to find something nice and available soooo last minute before Semana Santa but we made it. 😎 I love last minute trips!

We are going to Costa Brava for 3 days and this time we will slow down a little bit. 🙈We will do 50-50! We will stay at a hotel with spa, enjoy jacuzzi, go on massage and just relax. 🧖‍♀️ And then of course we will also explore! 🏍 We always do a looot when we travel and it would be nice to do nothing for few hours and just enjoy some self-care treatments. 😊

What about you guys?☺️
