This year we stayed home for the very first time because we have a lot of work with our new home. We haven’t been here for a couple of weeks because we have had some exiting things happening in our lives recently. 🥰 It’s been years since we moved to Spain and we can finally say we have a place to call home. Our home.🏡🗝️ March 31st will always be a special day, the day we bought our own place with Edwin. ☺️ We’ve been renting in Barcelona for around a decade - 11 years for Edwin and 9 years for me! And now we will move out to Premià de Mar, a smaller town on Costa Maresme, 20 minutes away from Barcelona. We struggled a lot whether we should stay in the city or not but now I know we made the correct decision.☺️ Many people that I know bought or built houses in their twenties but we have our own journey and we wouldn’t change anything at all. We always knew our moment would come as well. Sooner or later. I’m proud of us because we are a great team together. ♥️The new chapter in the new place is waiting for us!😍 Dreams do make come true ♥️ PS. Yesterday was the first day of spring and I even though I’m a total summer girl, there is something refreshing in spring season. 🌸 Usually it’s the season when I do makeovers in our flat, especially by cleaning and getting rid of unnecessary things and clothes 👗. I change my wardrobe but also some cosmetics because the sun starts to hit harder which means my skin requiers different care. Another thing I tend to do in spring is to focus on my plans and goals for summer, including traveling of course! I started to organize our big summer trip and I made a map with all the spots we wanna visit in the final destination.
